It's Amazing What God Can Do
Hey guys,
A few days ago I was hanging out with a group of girls and found myself being put into a situation where I shared my faith with this girl. She was in a hard place in her life at the time and starting talking about religion and how she'd been curious about getting into one. She was confused about which one to choose though.
After sitting there after a while watching her ponder, I felt compelled to share my faith with her. I felt God was speaking through me and realized that sharing my faith in Jesus Christ wasn't at all hard! It came easily, it's amazing what God can do.
I began covering all parts of the bible jumping from things in Genesis all the way to Revelation! We discussed our thoughts on homosexuality and how the bible says it's wrong. We also talked about the fact that if you are a true and devoted christian, you can't pick and choose things you beleive and don't believe out of the bible. God's word is truth, there's no gray shades, everything is black and white.
A few hours later, I overheard one of the girls apologizing for me for going off on my "religious rants".
No one needs to apologize for me! I said nothing wrong and spoke only the truth! If I had said something wrong, I would have apologized myself. People need to hear God's word, it is our purpose as christians to multiply on the earth and go tell everyone about Him; that God sent his only beloved son to earth, died on the cross for our sins, and rose and the third day. CHRISTIANS NEVER HAVE TO HAVE TO APOLOGIZE FOR THEIR FAITH!!
I'm glad I did what I did and I praised God that night for giving me the right words to say in order to lead her to Christianity. Even though another girl apologized for me, I still planted that good seed in her heart and now all I have to do is pray for God to work on it with her. As I said before, it's amazing what God can do.
Pray for her, though you don't know her. Pray that she finds God and welcomes Him into her heart and her life.
Yours Truly,
-Craisin

Love and Hugs ~ Mom
I'm a friend of your Mom's. I can see where you get your beauty and heart from.
ReplyDeleteYour message blessed me. I am thankful God used you to touch that young lady and I pray that the seeds the Holy Spirit used you to plant will be watered within her spirit and she will open her heart and receive Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior.
Keep speaking the Word and living by example especially before people your age.
I have an adult and teen daughter. My teen daughter speaks truths in GOD to her friends every day and I'm so blessed by that.
Stay encouraged and God bless you and have a great Junior year. My daughter will be one as well.
